The vibration is achieved through the eccentric blocks at the upper and lower ends of the motor shaft, the upper eccentric weights controls vibration in the horizontal direction, and the material segregates from the center of the screen mesh to the periphery.
The eccentric weights at the bottom of the generator shaft is used to get the spiral screening trajectory of the material by different angles of eccentric blocks, causing the equipment to vibrate in the vertical and tangential planes, forming a variety of material dispersion patterns to ensure that the differentiated needs of customers are met and the output of the maximum production capacity is accomplished and higher screening efficiency.
Most dry materials will require specific weights settings to achieve optimum efficiencies. Materials which are easy to grade, for example materials being processed on a relatively large mesh and having little oversize, can be processed on angles between 0 and 45 degrees, where a fast reject will assist in the rapid discharge of oversize material from the screen. This allows a clear passage for undersized materials to pass through the mesh cloth.
In addition to eccentric weights angle settings to control the direction of the materials as they cross the mesh surface you also have the extra facility of adding and subtracting auxiliary weights to the motor out of balance weight systems to control both the speed and direction of process materials.
On leaving the factory, each machine is set-up to provide 75% of horizontal amplitude with the top eccentric weights, while the lower weight controlling the vertical amplitude is set to minimum amplitude with an angle setting of 60 degrees, the various settings and amplitude are recorded in the test documents at the rear of this manual.
Normally we provide a set number of auxiliary weights for each machine, these will be found attached to the sifter base unless already fitted.
